Dashboard
Dashboard is a page that will give you a brief summary of your campaigns.
You can choose what metrics you want to view and can compare their performances according to the time period you select.
For more information, just scroll down the page. You will see two graphs. The left-side one indicates the detailed metrics that evaluate your app ads performances by country and regions. And for the right-side one, you can select from the drop-down menu in terms of gender and device categorization.
Besides, you can view top 10 keywords and top 10 ad groups by spend, impressions and taps at the bottom of this page.
Ads Manager
Ads Manager Actions Menu
The Actions menu allows you to apply all levels in the Ads Manager and take action on all selected items.
To make the Actions menu visible on the screen, just simply check the checkboxes on the rows that you want to manage.
After you click Actions, a window box will appear. In this box, you will find the various actions that you can take.
It is possible for you to take several common actions for your campaigns, ad groups, keywords and etc.
When you have selected, you can enable and pause the item and update the keywords bids collectively. You can edit it or even delete it later if you want.
As you can see from the graphic, you can easily compare and analyze the performances of the items you select .
Ads Manager Layers
There are eight layers of ad managers: Accounts, Apps, Campaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords, Search Terms, Ad Creatives and Negative Keywords.
On the first layer of Ads Manager, Accounts , you can update keyword bids by clicking on "Actions". Also, you can download data for all the accounts you have or the ones of your choices by clicking Download.
On the App layer , you can select the App that you want to work on and update the keyword bids by clicking on Actions , or you can click on Download to download the data for all the apps you have or the apps of your choices.
At the campaign and ad group level, you can Enable or Pause campaign/ad group, copy or delete campaigns/ad groups, and update keyword bids from "Actions". You can also download the data by clicking on "Download". The campaign level can be edited via the "Action"; the ad group can be edited by clicking on the small pencil icon next to the Ad Group name.
At the keywords level, you can find the details of your keywords.
As you can see below, by clicking on the +Add Keyword button you can add new keywords
You can also upload 、download or copy your bids by clicking on the "Upload", "Download", or "Copy" buttons to upload, download or copy them.
At the search term level, you can add search terms as keywords or add them as negative keywords by clicking on the Action button, and you can download the data by clicking on "Download".
At the Ad Creatives level, you can find the details of your ad creative . With the action buttons, you can enable or pause the ad creative; preview it by clicking on the name of the ad creative; or download the data by clicking on "Download".
In the last level of the Ads Manager, Negative Keywords, you can find the details of your negative keywords. With the "Action" button, you can delete your selected negative keywords in bulk. By clicking the "Add Negative Keywords" button,. you can add negative keywords to the selected campaigns or ad groups
Ads Manager Filters
You can reduce the items you display by applying filters to the application, campaign, ad group, keyword, search term, Ad Creatives and negative keyword levels.
After selecting a filter, you will see a list of different properties. Depending on the item you select, you will see the possible values to filter.
Settings
The Settings option enables you to filter out non-performance information about your applications, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, Ad Creatives and negative keywords.
Ad Performance
You would find performance-based metrics under "Ad Performance". This is a simple way to filter your ad campaigns according to performance. For example, if you only want to view campaigns that spend more than 2, then you simply click on the Spend option in the Campaign layer and enter more than 2.
In-App Conversions
Through our dashboard, you can find data from Apple Search Ads as well as MMP. When you click on the app conversion attribute, you will see information about MMP such as targeting, attributed installs, etc.
Cohort Analysis
Cohort analysis can be used to analyze the behavior and performance of user groups with shared attributes. In this attribute, there is data related to ROAS and revenue.
Ads Manager Ads Layer Overview
With the presence of CPP, now you can target specific audiences with different ad variants and customize product pages based on different targets. You can create up for 35 custom product pages through App Store Connect that include different promotional text, screenshots and app previews to better attract your audience. You can match your ad groups to different CPPs and adjust your assets based on your keyword themes and audience refinement.
AppAds users now have the ability to manage their ad variants through Ads Manager. Ad variant analytics can be easily displayed on the ad layer dashboard as well. For the ability to assign CPPs at the campaign or ad group level, monitor and compare the performance of custom vs. default product pages, simply follow these points.
1. To assign a CPP to a campaign, go to the campaign manager and click +Create Campaigan.
You can assign a custom product page to the created campaign at the end of the campaign creation page, in the ad creative section.
2. To assign a CPP to a particular ad group under a campaign, simply follow the same steps as above. Go to Ad Manager > Campaigns > Ad Groups and create an ad group by clicking on the "+ Create Ad Group" button.
The same steps as for creating an ad campaign, at the end of the ad group creation page, in the ad creative section, where you can assign a custom product page for the created ad group.
3. In order to monitor metrics from spend to impressions, clicks, installs, CPA, CPT, CPM, TTR or CR, go to Ad Manager > Ad Creatives Layer and by rolling to the right, you will see a list of default and custom product pages, as well as a breakdown of campaigns, ad groups and specific metrics.
Ads Manager Chart
This chart enables you to see 2D metrics for the Apple search ads campaigns. You can select the metric you want to compare (Average CPA, Average CPT, Average CPM, Conversion Rate, Installs, Number of Impressions, etc.) from the drop-down menu by clicking on the plus sign on the left side below the chart. In addition, you can select a specific time frame for comparison from the right side.
You can choose daily, weekly or monthly granularity, and the type of chart to visualize, such as a line, area or column chart. The granularity selected will follow the selected time frame. For example, if you select 7 days of data, but choose a monthly granularity, the data displayed will only be 7 days, not monthly.
If you have already identified goals for your account, you are also able to display them in the chart view by simply selecting the goals from the left side of the filter.
For displaying the goals on the chart, simply select the goals you want and click Apply. In the chart view you can display only one target at a time.
After you select the desired target and apply it, you will see the performance of the installed goal on the chart.
Ads Manager Duplication
It is very easy and convenient to duplicate and schedule campaigns using AppAds' duplication feature. You don't need to create campaigns from scratch. You can easily duplicate your existing campaigns by selecting the duplication feature and scheduling the decision factors based on your new campaign.
As shown above, select the campaign you want to duplicate, click on "Actions" and then click on "Duplicate" , you will be directed to the campaign duplication page. Here you can update the campaign name, region and daily budget, as well as other features of the campaign as you wish. If you want to change the duplicated campaign, you can easily click on the "Change Selected Campaign(s)" button in the bottom left corner of the window.
You can easily duplicate your campaign by clicking on "Duplicate" in the bottom right corner of the page.
The steps for duplicate ad groups are the same as above.
Ads Manager Columns
You can edit columns within each layer.
The metrics displayed in the columns change depending on the layer you are in. Once you click the Edit Columns button, you can arrange the columns to be displayed for the layer you are in.
On the left side, you can add the metrics you want to display to the right side.
On the right side, you can delete the added metrics and change their order.
After clicking "Apply", the metrics you arranged will be displayed in the dashboard of the corresponding level.

How to reach the automation creation process?
By clicking on the "Automation" in the left menu you can access the automation. You will see the following page after you click on Automation.
In the Automation Rules section, you will see the name, status and function of the already existed automation rules and their creation date.
To create a new automation rule for a Search Results Campaign, you need to follow these steps:
Click on the "Create Automation Rule" button.
Select the "Start from scratch for Search Result Campaigns" tab and click on the "Next" button.
Here you will see the automation page where your automation will be created.
How to create an automation from scratch?
With AppAds' automation capabilities, you can create almost any automation, thinking of a few key performance metrics you may want to track. The following are the steps of the automation process:
First, you need to choose the target of the automation, where you want to apply the changes. You can choose keywords if you want the automation rules to make changes to keywords, or you can choose the campaign level if you want the automation to change something in the campaign settings.
After selecting the level at which the automation will act, you can select a "restricted level". For example, if you select Target as keywords, From target location as campaigns, then this rule will work for all keywords under your chosen campaign.
You will see an overall overview of the automation rules after selecting the From target location. The next step will be to create the automation sections one by one.
You will need to set up conditions for the first part of creating the automation, and when the conditions are met, the automation rule will be applied.
Here you can play with any values or metrics you want.
Next is to select the Actions section. The Actions section is where we choose the actions that the automation will take. There are several actions we can take,you can change the bid, and you can add the keyword as a negative.
In the Email Notification section, You can get an email notification.
After setting up your automation rule, you need to determine how often the automation will take the action and you also need to give a name.
Automations Page - Search Tab Automations
A brief Introduction on Search Tab Automations
Search tab campaigns are an asset for ASA practitioners to acquire iOS users. Automation can be a powerful tool when trying to figure out the optimal level of CPM or daily cap.
To start a search tab automation rule, we go to the Automation page and select "+ Create Automation Rule"
Then select "Start from scratch for Search Tab Campaigns"
Select the level you want to apply the automation to.
Then depending on the level we want to apply, we can choose conditions,and when the conditions are met, the automation rule will be applied.
Next is the Actions. This can be either the search tag ad campaign level or the ad group.
We can change daily budget, total budget, pause.
We can also send email notifications.
All of these are based on conditions and can be changed from the conditions section.
Keyword Planner
It enables you to search for your competitors and find out the keywords they are bidding on, and then make predictions about their campaign strategy. You can select well-performing keywords and add them to your campaigns.
Bidding apps
You can select a country and a specific time frame to get started.
On this page you will see the the Visibility Score(the visibility of your app on Apple Search Ads' position), the Active Countries ( the storefronts that your campaigns are running in), and Total Paid Keywords for your app.
Below you can see some filters to help you locate the keywords you are looking for regarding Impression Share or Popularity. When you select these filters, you can also sort them in order of Organic Rank.
Bidding keywords
This section allows you to search for a particular keyword and see the apps that are bidding on that keyword.
You can see the Impression Share of those apps received for that keyword, the Visibility Score of the app on Apple Search Ads' position, Total Paid Keywords, Organic Rank and their Category Name.
The data you get on this page will allow you to get more information to adjust your campaign strategy.
App store rankings
On this page, you can find the top advertisers' apps and their data, including their Visibility Scores, Overall Ranking, Total Paid Keywords, Category and Category Ranking.
Organic Keywords
With this page, you can search by app name and see the organic keywords for the selected app.
By clicking on the tab, you can sort the keywords by chance and popularity, and you can also see the number of Total Apps that are currently ranked for the keyword, as well as the organic rankings under Ranking (today).
Attribution
Partners
On the Partners page, you can integrate your mobile measurement partners into the AppAds platform.
Goals
The Goals page allows you to create goals based on events in your app. You will be able to create your goals, once your integration with your Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) is successfully completed. This is a necessary step in order for you to see your attribution data. After creating your goals, you will be able to make selections on the Ads Manager page and track event-related performance in the app.
You can create your goal by clicking the Create Goal button at the top right of the Goals page.
After entering the goal name and selecting the App you want to create a goal for, you need to specify which In-app events that you want to include in the goal. You can select multiple in-app events.
You can also set a category for your goal. You can create up to 6 goals with a single category. However, you can also create goals without selecting any goal category. When you don't select a goal category, you can create as many goals as you want.
Finally, click the Save button.You can go to Ad Manager, select your goal and view the relevant data.
Settings
On the Settings page, you can access different layers such as Account Settings, Email Settings, and Payment.
Account Settings
In the Account Settings layer, you can set your name, phone number, country, title, and company name. You can also change the password of your account.
Email Settings
At the Email Settings layer, you can add your email address to be notified of updates and changes to your account.
Payment
On the Payment layer, you can add your credit card information to easily complete your payment process. After you add your credit card, you can see your transaction history and card details in the Transaction History section.
In addition, when you scroll down to that page, you will see the Spending History where you can find a breakdown of your yearly, monthly and daily spending at the ad group level.
