When it comes to tracking app performance, it’s important to consider your users’ opinions. That’s why FoxData is equipped with special ratings & reviews features that help you monitor what users say about your app and improve your product with user insights.

Rating Summary

This part provides you with current rating. It is base on the real-time data from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Rating

Daily Changes

First, in this 'Rating Change' chart, the summary above the bar chart gives a quick overview of your app's rating changes. The bar chart offers detailed insights into the star rating distribution of new and deleted reviews.

When the time period you select is 90 days or longer, drag the blue bar at the bottom of the chart to select the time period you want to see.

Switch to 'Total Ratings' to see the total number of ratings your app has received overtime.

There are some orange dots which called 'Event Nodes'under the bar charts. When you hover your mouse over these orange dots, the corresponding event will appear.

Version Breakdown

Switch to 'Version Breakdown' tab, we show the ratings breakdown of different version. By selecting different versions here, you can view which version users are satisfied with most. (You can even select up to 10 versions for comparison.)

Country/Region Breakdown

In 'Country/Region section', we show the ratings breakdown of different country. (You can select up to 10 countries at the same time.)

Reviews

This part is similar to Ratings introduced above,you can monitor the three dimensions of Daily, Version, and Country/Region to track the performance of the app. But please notice the data in this part does not include the ratings without reviews.

Reviews Details

Foxdata helps you understand what users like or dislike about your app by providing detailed reviews, including those that have been deleted.

You can filter reviews by Date, Rating, Reply, Status, and Sort to examine specific comments. Additionally, we offer a translation tool to convert reviews into the languages you prefer.

You can directly search for keywords to pinpoint specific comments.

If you click the name of reviewer, you can view all the reviews posted by this people.

Competitors

If you want to compare your app's rating performance with competitors, you can switch to 'Competitors'Tab. We provide multi-dimensional comparison data about ratings and reviews between your app and competitors.

Ratings Comparison

First, you get an overview of competitors' rating data, which helps you quickly assess their popularity.

After understanding the basic rating situation of the competitors, FoxData allows you to compare competitors' Rating, Rating Count, and Country/Region Breakdown.We support filtering by date and version across these three dimensions.

Additionally, the Country/Region Breakdown dimension allows you to select up to 10 countries to compare rating data

Reviews Comparison

The "Reviews Comparison" feature is similar to "Ratings Comparison" in terms of data dimensions and usage. You can analyze competitors' data through an overview of comparisons, including Rating with New Reviews, Count, and Country/Region Breakdown.

Review Sentiment Analysis

The Review Sentiment Analysis provides a quick overview of your apps' total reviews, average review rating, and star distribution for a selected type during the selected date range. By default, the analysis date range the last 90 days. You can change the date range at any time as you like.

You will find keywords that appear more often in user reviews at the Keyword Cloud. This can give you an idea the user's impression of the app.

The color of the word cloud indicates sentiment: blue for positive, red for negative, and orange for neutral.

The font size represents the frequency of the keywords, with larger fonts indicating higher frequency. The cloud displays the top 25 most frequently occurring keywords.

Hover over a keyword to view its average rating and review count.

In the table below, you'll find the "Details of Keywords" section. Here, you can examine specific keywords in detail, including their average rating, rating breakdown, occurrences, trend, and reviews.

Both the Rating Breakdown and Trend dimensions provide specific values that you can see by hovering over the icons.

Click on the review count corresponding to a particular keyword in the table, and you will be redirected to view the detailed reviews.

AI Review Summary

AI Review Summary is based on GPT semantic analysis, allowing you to get the most valuable insights from users about your app or competitors from massive user reviews with just one click.

By default, the AI ​​tool will automatically generate a summary based on the most recent 200 reviews of the selected app, including the user profile who posted the reviews and summarizing user insights from four dimensions: positive, negative, bugs, and requirements.

If the selected app has less than 10 recent reviews, you will most likely be able to summarize the reviews manually. In this case, we will not call the AI ​​summary tool by default, so don't worry about consuming your remaining usage.

To better manage the usage, you can click the AI ​​Service module in the Personal Center to check which AI tools you have used and how many times you can use them in the current cycle.

Also you can filter the reviews you want to know more about in the review details, check these key reviews and click the AI ​​Analysis button to get user insights.

Of course, in order to make the most effective use of the AI ​​summary tool, we recommend that you select more than 20 reviews.

After clicking AI analysis, you can get a summary of the selected reviews in the Smart Review Summary.

In addition, we will keep your every analysis result. Click the History Records button in the upper right corner to view the corresponding analysis results in the timeline.

And using History Records will not consume your remaining usage times.
